This is a really fun exercise and theres not just one way to do the exercise, but a number of ways. To start, hold a plank position with your feet together. Make sure that your shins and shanks are perpendicular to the floor and that your head is tucked under your tailbone. Lift your arms straight up behind your head, like the hook of a bow, and drop the weight you are going to use.

As you get down to the lower portion of your trunk, raise your hips and back, and slowly return to the plank position. You will find that it takes a few steps to bring the weight down.
