During the COVID-19, there are two main changes in the IT software industry:
firstly, businesses need to change their infrastructure, thus increasing the cost for software development projects. This change had also brought about a change in IT outsourcing to countries in less developed countries, where cost is very much different with much lower rates.
Pandemic situation resulted to the second change where the market rate of software development contracted has increased substantially, due to more companies seeking new ways to stay afloat. Many companies have also gone back to development projects from before that were based on the cloud. Many software developers, however, are also now going back to traditional off-shore development projects.
